The research topics of my working group are located in the field of inorganic coordination- and solid state chemistry dealing with inorganic functional materials based on complex oxo-anions. An important part of the investigations is dedicated to the synthesis and characterization of new compounds. The properties of these compounds are defined by the specific oxo-anion and by the nature of the used element so that with respect to the possible combinations different functionalities can be adressed.
